Riverview Park is a neighborhood in the far east of Billerica between Whipple Road and the Boston and Maine Railroad, beside George Brown Street near the Wilmington line. The "Plan of Riverview Park, Billerica, Mass.," dated June 20, 1912 and drawn by S. Schwartz, civil engineer, was recorded two days later (Plan Book 30, Plan 4). It shows the tract bounded by Whipple Road, the "B. and M. R.R. Southern Div." and a road marked Salem Road at its end, which was the old way from the Salem road toward Wilmington.
The plan laid out Oak, Winn, Pine, Ash and Willis Streets parallel to Whipple Road and the railroad, crossed by Foster and Hopkins Streets, in nearly six hundred narrow numbered lots. None of the plan's street names survive. The present grid of Jordan Road, Donald Road, Norman Road, Marilyn Road, Coolidge Street and Concannon Street fills the same ground, built up mostly from the 1940s and 1950s. The western part was replatted in May 1947 by John Thomas Brown, surveyor, for Harry and Jeanne Shotz as Shawsheen River Pines, Unit No. 1 (Plan Book 70, Plan 88), with Donald Road, Jordan Road, Coolidge Street and Norman Street between Salem Road and Whipple Road in lots of 7,500 square feet. Jeanne Shotz had the Norman Street lots between Donald Road and Whipple Road redrawn in December 1961 (Plan Book 96, Plan 51).
